 | |  | Roberto Iacopelli | | Helmut Kritzinger | IFMGA Mountain and ski guide | | IFMGA Mountain and ski guide | Roberto started climbing at a very earl age collecting over one thousand different ascents in the Dolomites, his local mountains, and in the rest of the Alps, all through his experiences of winter mountaineering and free-solo climbing as well as opening up a dozen new routes.
He has written three climbing guides, chosen in the Dolomites, which are very well known to the italian public. The subject of these guides is the rediscovering of the not so known ascents in the wild areas. Another of his books talks about sport climbing in the surroundings of Bolzano and the last one (2007-Edizioni Versante Sud) it’s about ski mountaineering in Tyrol.
What is his objective after a quarter century experience in the Dolomites? His objective is to accompany you in discovering the most authentic corners of these mountains. | | Helmut Kritzinger was born in Fiè allo Sciliar and has its residence there, too. He goes to the mountains his entire life. At the beginning it was just a hobby; trekking, via ferrate and later (1981) climbing. From 1982 it becomes extreme. Climbing, skiing and ski mountaineering remain his first hobby even out of work. In 1987 I worked for six months as a mountain guide for a famous private mountain school in Madeira.
After my public exam in 1991 I receive a mountain and ski guide certificate and since than I owe a mountain guide office “Arc Alpin” and work mainly as self-employed person. For the last 13 years I have worked as well as a mountain guide for the Tourist Board of Bolzano for summer trekking and in winter for trekking with snow rackets.
Till 2008 I have ascended five of the Seven Summits. For 2009 and 2010 I plan to complete the other two of the Seven Summits. But my life dream belongs to the Dolomites. I train here for the big and difficult ascents. | Via dei Vanga, 77
