SUMMER

From June to September takes place a great alpine summer. There’s a high season in July and August; the prices of accommodations are higher and the weather mostly changeable. If you can choose the period it’s better to come in June or September when the weather is settled, there is less people and the prices are lower.
Look at our proposals for that period but don’t forget to ask us per mail a programme adapted to your needs. We’ll answer very soon!

Home Summer (DCT) Dolomites Climbing Tour (base camp in Bolzano)
(DCT) Dolomites Climbing Tour (base camp in Bolzano)

This is an introductory programme dedicated to those who are going to touch the dolomitic rock for the first time. It’s a short mix of classical routes which represents three different areas; a nomadic tour to become acquainted with the magic Dolomites. We propose this programme with medium difficulty routes (5.5/IV+) which you can modify as you wish even with ascents of superior difficulty and also throughout the whole period of stay.

Day 1
Arrive in Bolzano welcomed by a mountain guide. Short organizing meeting about the week programme.
Day 2
Along the Trenker and Gluck route (5.5/IV+ - 120+100 m), respectively the first and the second Sella Tower. These short itineraries are the best couple of routes to enter the Dolomites reality.
Day 3
The three classical routes of the Vajolet Towers. (5.5/IV+ -120 m x 3). Are we going to succeed in completing these three famous towers in just one day? All you need it's just some training and that's it!
Day 4
Independently, but with all necessary information you’ll take the bike and visit in complete relax the two beautiful castles near Bolzano. Runkelstein Castle: a rare example of a medieval manor with the most valuable chivalrous frescoes. Firmian Castle: the biggest castle in Alto Adige; today is the seat of the Messner Mountain Museum.
Day 5
The two classical ridges of the Falzarego Towers (5.4, 5.5/III, IV + 200+100 m). This time we move towards the Oriental Dolomites, to the area of Cortina, to ascend two other beautiful summits along the two respective routes.
Day 6
Independently, but with all necessary information you’ll visit a nearby town Merano but most of all you’ll relax in its pharaonic spa. It’s the biggest thermal complex in Europe with 17 swimming pools and saunas. It occupies the whole quarter. You have to visit it absolutely!
Day 7
Shopping or visit of Bolzano. Departure.

Mountain guide welcomes you and accompanies you during the days dedicated to the rock ascents and he supports you during the other days as well. During the whole period of stay he is your contact person for any requirement.
