WINTER

Snow and ice are the protagonists of this season. Winter season culminates during the Christmas holidays when thousands of people visit Bolzano and the prices are very high. On the other side, there’s a low season in January, with rigid temperature and less people and that’s why it is the best period for us to speed on ski slopes/trails or to ascent the ice-climbing walls. From February to March there’s a high season again but there are milder temperatures to enjoy sunny days and the stable snow for the ski mountaineering tours.

This programme is dedicated to those who want to meet the Dolomites in winter by ascending the most beautiful ice falls. We propose a nomadic tour on the falls of medium difficulty (grade IV) which you can modify as you wish choosing also the ascents of superior difficulty. If you have never tried the ice climbing or you don’t have crapons and ice axles, don’t you worry, we supply all equipment! You need just some rock climbing experience.
