Roberto started climbing at a very earl age collecting over one thousand different ascents in the Dolomites, his local mountains, and in the rest of the Alps, all through his experiences of winter mountaineering and free-solo climbing as well as opening up a dozen new routes. He has written three climbing guides, chosen in the Dolomites, which are very well known to the italian public. The subject of these guides is the rediscovering of the not so known ascents in the wild areas. Another of his books talks about sport climbing in the surroundings of Bolzano and the last one (2007-Edizioni Versante Sud) it’s about ski mountaineering in Tyrol. What is his objective after a quarter century experience in the Dolomites? His objective is to accompany you in discovering the most authentic corners of these mountains. Look my five books:
